Source/Archive record SYO1734 - York City Walls Interpretation and Access

Title York City Walls Interpretation and Access
Author/Originator
Date/Year 2004

Abstract/Summary

This Interpretation and Access Plan sets an Interpretive Framework within which orientation and interpretation initiatives for York City Walls should be developed over a 10-year period. It proposes three key ideas, which we believe will improve and enhance the visitor experience, not just of York City Walls, but of York as a whole. Vital to these and to the provision of interpretation are the recommendations for improvements that offer access for all to this significant historic monument and the associated buildings and features. Superseeded by New Conservation Management Plan SYO2629.
