Description

YORK SE5951SE DOVE STREET 1112-1/20/293 (South East side) Nos.21 AND 22 GV II Two houses. 1827-30. Brick with some painted stone dressings. Slate roof, hipped at right. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. The facades form a mirrored pair, with each house of one bay and with the doorways at the outer sides. The windows are sashed and have painted rusticated lintels. The timber doorcases have reeded engaged columns, plain friezes, cornices, and plain rectangular overlights. The door to No.22 is C20 and partly glazed. The door to No.21 has a panel of engraved glass above a raised panel. The gutter is supported by rectangular brackets. Ridge chimneys between houses and shared at left. INTERIOR: not inspected.
