YORK SE6051NW COLLIERGATE 1112-1/28/243 (North East side) 01/07/68 Nos.29 AND 30 (Formerly Listed as: COLLIERGATE Nos.29, 30 AND 31) GV II Two houses, now one shop. No.29 c1800; No.30 c1845; C20 shopfront. No.29 of red brick in Flemish bond with orange brick dressings, timber boxed guttering on paired modillions and brick stack at rear of slate roof. No.30 of orange brick in Flemish bond with moulded timber cornice on carved brackets, and slate roof with brick stack. Timber shopfront. EXTERIOR: 3-storey front to No.29, 4 storey front to No.30, both with 1 window. Full-width shopfront framed in sunk-panel pilasters beneath dentilled cornice between carved scrolled consoles: shop door to No.29, 6-panel door to No.30, both with radial fanlights, between curved shop windows. No.29 has 4-pane sashes beneath flat arches of rubbed brick on both floors. No.30 has 1-pane sashes with painted stone sills on all floors, those on first and second floors with segmental arches.
