WHELDRAKE MAIN STREET SE 6644-6744 (north side) 14/126 No 57, Half-Way House 23.8.78
GV II House. Late C18 with C19 openings. Pinkish-brown brick with pantile roof. Single storey, 2 cells. Central entrance a C20 part-gla ed door. 4-pane Yorkshire sashes. All openings under cambered heads. End stacks. Sun Fire Company Mark. Reputedly the resting point for coffin-bearers on route to church. Included for group value.
