YORK SE6052SW ST LEONARD'S PLACE 1112-1/27/943 (West side (off)) 24/06/83 Wall approximately 2 metres north of No.9 (Formerly Listed as: ST LEONARD'S PLACE Approximately 25 ft of low wall to north of No.9) GV I Fragment of wall approximately 7 metres long from the outer defences of the Roman legionary fortress of Eboracum. c300 AD. Coursed rubble stone faced on one side with small limestone blocks: approximately 0.75 to 1.50 metres high.
