Description
HESLINGTON FIELD LANE SE 65 SW (north side) 1/55 Font, approximately 2.5 metres to north of chancel of Heslington Church GV II Font. Probably mid C19. Sandstone ashlar. Gothic style. Waterholding base, surmounted by group of 4 columns with stif-leaf foliage supporting octagonal font with sunk quatrefoils and foliate bands. Included for group value.
