YORK SE5951SW HOLGATE ROAD 1112-1/19/485 (South side) 19/08/71 No.75 (Formerly Listed as: HOLGATE ROAD Nos.71-77 (Odd)) GV II House. c1830. Brick with slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys above a semi-basement. One window to ground floor and to basement, and 2 windows to 1st floor. All are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches. The doorway, at the left, is reached by 9 external stone steps with nosings. The doorcase has engaged reeded columns, a plain frieze, and a plain semicircular overlight. The door has 6 raised and fielded panels. Ridge chimney to right. INTERIOR: not inspected. (RCHME: City of York: London: 1972-: 126). Listing NGR: SE5933351208
