Description
Beginning on 18th November 1997, York Archaeological Trust carried out an archaeological watching brief on the repair works undertaken on St. Mary's Abbey wall, chainage ] 100-112, (National Grid Reference SE 6001 5232) on behalf of the City of York Council. This watching brief was undertaken by Russell Marwood on behalf of the York Archaeological Trust with records of the work being stored with the Yorkshire Museum and the York Archaeological Trust under the museum's accession code YORYM:1997.195
