Description
In March 2010, York Archaeological Trust undertook an archaeological evaluation within a
field (designated Area B5), located part-way along the southern slope of Kimberlow Hill,
Heslington East, the University of York, North Yorkshire. The results of the excavations
showed that palaeochannel deposits were present in three of the five trenches excavated,
but that archaeologically derived features were poorly preserved, being present in only two of
the trenches.
