Description

"Field walking by York University Department of Archaeology, Easter 1986. Large amounts of Roman pottery - mainly 1st and 2nd centuries (Samian 63 sherds; coarsewares 700 sherds) plus amounts of medieval (105 sherds) and post-medieval pottery (48 sherds). Some flints, thought to be Mesolithic. Several different FW techniques used" from SMR card (scan attached through librarylink)
