Description

West end of trench (centre of site): north-south mortared limestone wall, associated with a cobble surface, sand and mortar floors and an ash deposit. Further east were two mortared limestone walls, one with an east return at north end, and a robbed wall. Sealed by organic dumps. East end of trench: post 0.1m diam, sealed by organic deposits beneath more rubbly layers.
