Description
Single trench excavated as part of a geotechnical evaluation of the site of the former York Gasworks recorded a boundary ditch of the medieval leper hospital of St Leonards, as well as the remains of The Woodman Inn, an 18th century structure. Watching brief also carried out as part of this project.
