Description

In October 1984 an observation was made of a small trench at 15 Bishophill Senior. A deposit of nautal sand/sandy clay was noted c.2m bgl at 14.45-14.65m AOD. A presumed demolished Roman wall was noted. No dating evidence was obtained. It seemed to have been demolished in the medieval period.
