Description
A watching brief was carried out by On-site Archaeologgy during Apri1 2004, monitoring the ground works for a patio extension in the front garden of 1 Mill Lane, Heworth Green. The excavation revealed a series of modern clay layers capping a shallow medieval soil horizon situated just above the natural.
