Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by On-Site Archaeology Ltd at a Grade II listed cottage Green View, Upper Poppleton, North Yorkshire during groundworks associated with the construction of a single storey extension and drainage installation to the rear of the property.
The watching brief revealed a post-medieval pit during new foundation trenching excavation. Other features observed were a 19th – 20th century pit and land drain.
