Description

The watching brief consisted monitoring of pile probing due to the identification of obstructions and the excavation of a fuel interceptor tank. The watching brief did not reveal any significant archaeological remains. Clearly 20th century demolition deposits were revealed for the full depth of excavation. Evidence for a 19th century drain, backfilled in the second half of the 20th century, was also recorded.
