Description

This document presents the results of a programme of archaeological monitoring in advance of construction of a wastewater treatment works at Kexby. The work comprised the archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping of an area for the new treatment works, associated pipelines and adjacent contractors’ compound. Archaeological monitoring revealed the presence of two plough furrows, representing the remains of ridge and furrow cultivation associated to the medieval settlement at Kexby. No other significant archaeological remains were encountered and no finds were recovered.
