Description

NMR Information: Watching brief carried out during installation of outdoor lighting. Medieval pathways, a medieval wall (possibly belonging to the Abbey service buildings), some structural remains within the area of the Abbey itself, and a portion of a Roman road were revealed. The project was funded by North Yorkshire County Council. RCHME Microfilm Index PRN: 6127.
