Description
NMR Information:
A watching brief was undertaken during the reduction of ground levels and the excavation of service trenches for a new extension at 12 front street.
No archaeological deposits or remains were seen during the removal of the topsoil. The natural subsoil below was remarkably clean without any intrusions except for the small area of brick floor, which was the only remaining evidence for buildings having once been on the site.
