Description
The watching brief results revealed that medieval deposits ofprobable mid-11th to mid-13th century date survive at approximately 0.5m to 0.6m below the modern surface. These deposits comprised of a thick former soil horizon. Constructed upon the soil horizon were a number of foundations and a brick surface that are most likely to be 18th or 19th century in date.
