Description
Observations of a utility trench recorded the possible remains of the Roman road and associated roadside ditch beneath present day Lawrence Street. A 19th century surface associated with Bull Lane was also recorded. There was also evidence for make up and levelling deposits probably associated with the construciton of noneteenth centuy houses on the west side of Bull Lane.
