A watching brief maintained on a trial trench at the Mount School. Archaeological deposits sealing an undated feature were identified. Exact NGR unknown. No report available. NMR sources: York Archaeological Trust annual report 1993-1994/23 Entry in YAT gazetteer: 1993.20. Approx 0.9m depth of modern levelling deposit was observed in a contractor's trench beneath the tarmac surface. It sealed a rectilinear cut of approx 0.3m depth, of unknown function.
