Description
A watching brief maintained on a trial trench at the Mount School. Archaeological deposits sealing an undated feature were identified. Exact NGR unknown. No report available.

Entry in YAT gazetteer: 1993.20. Approx 0.9m depth of modern levelling deposit was observed in a contractor's trench beneath the tarmac surface. It sealed a rectilinear cut of approx 0.3m depth, of unknown function. No evidence of Roman burial was recovered from the site. Published YAT Annual Report pg 23 1993/94. Excavator, B. Antoni
