Description

Monitoring of three test pits revealed that if any archaeological deposits do remain, they will be found at least 1.30m below the current level of the car park. This depth can be dropped to perhaps 1.70m further to the south edge of the site The excavations revealed that there is a great depth of modern debris across the site. No evidence of archaeological deposits or remains was found during the excavation of the pits.
