Description

A watching brief during refurbishment works located dumps of Roman pottery under a Victorian floor. From the nature of the deposits unearthed during the removal of the Victorian floor surfaces, it must be presumed that the original excavations involved with the construction of Number 3 South Parade must have removed some of these Primary Roman deposits.
