Description

YAT were requested by police to examine bones found beneath the basement floor at 5 Dewsbury Terrace. The deposits from which the bones were derived appears likely, on the basis of the three sherds of pottery recovered, to be of medieval date. No evidence was found to suggest that any of the bones were human origin. The origin of the deposits is likely to be of either build-up or dumping during the medieval period.
