Description

Seven boreholes were sunk as part of ground investigation works ahead of bridge replacement scheme. Available report is on geology and groundwater of the site. Made ground recorded as 2.5 - 5m across the boreholes. NMR: Report not accessed, basic details obtained from York Archaeological Trust for Excavation and Research Ltd. A watching brief was carried out.
