Description

Summarises of the results of an archaeological strip, map and record excavation, as well as a watching brief carried out during the demolition of Hudson House. The site yielded sealed archaeological deposits and features, which were primarily from the nationally significant 19th century York Old Railway Station and a small number of isolated late Romano British deposits had survived, centred around an alluvial deposit.
