Description
Monitoring of a 0.6m wide, 0.45m deep and 5m long trench to make new path edgings along the path on the north side of the hospitium. At a depth of 8.17m AOD well laid limestone and cobble surfacing was found interpreted to be the remains of a road or well surfaced yard. A medieval date suggested.
