Description

An excavation conducted at the York Minster Stoneyard encountered early 18th century construction activity and a mid-18th century building forming part of the prebendary of Strensall. The late 19th/early 20th century landscape clearance for the creation of Deangate and the current Stoneyard buildings was also identified.
