Extract from YAJ 1967:
(SE 60405162) Excavation in the garden behind 12 Castlegate revealed foundations of a Tudor fireplace
and wall of the second half of the sixteenth century, overlying portions of the Franciscan Friary walls. Excavations are continuing.
