Description
A complex sequence of structures forming part of St Mary's Abbey were recorded and partially removed during the construction of a lift building for Yorkshire Museum.
The site was partially covered by an earth mound believed to represent spoil from Wellbeloved's excavations on 1827-28.
The walls were located at 16.36m AOD.
