Description

David Brinklow observed the digging of a sewer trench 1.75m deep in the NE corner of Museum Gardens. The remains of two stone walls were but by the trench at a depth of only 0.1-0.15m beneath the tarmac surface. The more easterly of these is likely to be part of the precinct wall.
