York Historic Environment Record

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken at Northminster Business Park, York, in September 2018. Six trenches were excavated to the south of the current business park. Results from the geophysical survey identified modern field drains and no anomalies of clear archaeological interest. Trenches were positioned to evaluate these areas, as well as to test areas with no archaeological responses. No archaeological finds or features were encountered during the works. Modern plough scars and field drains were encountered within the majority of the trenches.
