Description
A watching brief on ground works for an emergency replacement of faulty power cables was undertaken by York Archaeological Trust on behalf of Northern Powergrid between 6th July and 2nd October 2020 at Skeldergate - extending into Buckingham St and Albion St. No archaeological deposits were observed during the watching brief due to the extensive presence of modern services.
