Description
Between the 12th August and the 13th October 2020 York Archaeological Trust conducted an archaeological watching brief at Former Heworth Gasworks, York.
The works involved the monitoring of ground works relating to the redevelopment of the site within the main gasworks compound.
Photographs were taken of the area and former gaswork buildings; no earlier archaeology was revealed during the course of the watching brief.
