Description

EXCAVATION - parent record for deposit model points Excavation in 1987 revealing Anglian bone combs, Anglo-Scandinavian pottery, medieval barrels all preserved in waterlogged conditions. A Viking axe head and two bone skates were also found as well as substantial timber structures.
