The investigation comprised the archaeological recording of two trenches. Trench 1 revealed a probably 17th - 18th century deposit at the base of the trench, which was no excavated, sealed by a 18th - 20th century soil horizon. Within Trench 2 probable remains of a 19th - 20th century structure were observed. No earlier archaeological features or finds were detected during the investigation, the trenches were of insufficient depth to reach any such earlier archaeological remains.
