Description
Archaeological Services WYAS (ASWYAS) undertook a scheme of archaeological evaluation comprising two trial trenches at the former Cocoa Works, Wigginton Road, York. The trenches exposed a number of post-medieval services and drains and noted some disturbance from recent demolition and older tree rooting. No archaeological remains pre-dating the 20th-century works were identified.
