Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by On Site Archaeology in 2022 at Priory Hotel, 126-128 Fulford Road, York. The watching brief comprised the monitoring of foundation trenching for a garage block to the rear of property. Only relatively modern archaeological activity was encountered; consisting of a possible 19th-20th century property boundary and garden soil horizon, no finds were recovered. Natural was only encountered in the southern part of the excavations, where they were deepest.
