Description
A watching brief was undertaken by York Archaeological Trust on behalf of City of York Council at Stonegate, Colliergate and Church Street to record any archaeological deposits or structures exposed by the ground works during the replacement of paving stones. The work concludes that no archaeological finds, deposits or features were observed during the monitoring of the replacement of paving stones at Stonegate, Colliergate and Church Street.
