Description
The objective of the watching brief was to record any archaeological deposits or structures exposed by the ground works. No archaeological deposits were recorded within the test pit. All recorded deposits related to insertion of the electric cable and subsequent backfill, therefore 20thC in date. Archaeological remains may exist within the excavation area, but these must occur at a depth not reached during this investigation.
