Description

Repairs to the pavement of the sunken area to the north of Treasurer's House a shallow depth of underlying archaeological deposits were to be removed. This revealed a sequence of post-medieval structures and deposits. In addition, important medieval remains of the 12th an earlier 13th centuries were discovered relating to the medieval Treasurer's House.
