Description
Archaeological Services WYAS undertook an archaeological watching brief at 14 Marygate, York in November 2023 and March 2024 during the construction of a two-storey extension to the existing property and associated groundworks. The works exposed a series of humic soil layers, of probable medieval date, however no archaeological features were exposed.
