Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording at the site of the former Heworth Gasworks, York. This work was conducted following previous archaeological investigations of the site undertaken by York Archaeology in 2019 and 2020.
No significant archaeological remains were uncovered during this programme of archaeological monitoring and recording, and no trace of Roman or medieval activity was identified within the monitored area.
