Description
York Archaeology carried out archaeological monitoring on work being carried out at 62 Heworth Road.
The scheme comprised the conversion of outbuildings to form a dwelling with the addition of a single storey extension following the demolition of a detached garage, and will include associated parking and landscaping work.
The monitoring of the work at 62 Heworth Road revealed glacially deposited clay overlain with levelling deposits and two phases of yard landscaping structures.
