Description
As a result of an unexpected discovery during building works a short programme of archaeological recording at 22, Clifton Green. The recording was undertaken on behalf of CG Building and Restoration Ltd.
The investigations revealed the remains of several walls below the current building, the oldest of which appear to be that of a substantial stone-built building which pre-dates the 1839 dwelling.
