Full Description
Three houses. 1823-8. Brick with painted stone or stucco dressings and slate roofs. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys above cellars. Each house one bay. The windows are glazing bar sashes. All, including the cellar windows, have painted rusticated lintels with fluted false keystones, except for the 1st floor window of No 5 which has a brick flat arch. The 1st floor windows have a sill band. The doorcases, at the right of each house, have pilasters and friezes with incised Greek Fret ornament, corner bosses, and are pedimented. The doors have 6 raised and fielded panels and the overlights have geometrical glazing with central circles, diagonals, and margin panes. The timber gutters are carried on paired rectangular brackets. Shared chimneys to left and right of each house. INTERIOR: not inspected.
