Full Description
Two houses. c1800 with early/mid C19 additions. Brick with pantiled roof. EXTERIOR: 4 storeys and 2 bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes, except for the right-hand one on the first floor which is sashed. At the left on the ground floor there is a canted tripartite window. To the left and right there are doorways. The left-hand one, to No.34, has a door with 6 raised and fielded panels, a fanlight, and a doorcase with reeded engaged columns, reeded console brackets, and an open pediment. The right-hand doorway has a door with 6 raised and fielded panels, a plain rectangular overlight, tall thin pilasters, and a cornice hood. The gutter is supported on paired timber brackets. Central chimney in front of ridge, and shared ridge chimneys to left and right. INTERIOR: not inspected. RCHM records original fireplaces with cast-iron grates.
