Full Description

House, now restaurant. Mid C19 with later alteration. Brown brick in Flemish bond on ashlar plinth; timber guttering on paired brackets to slate roof with brick stack to left. EXTERIOR: 3-storey front on high plinth; 2 windows. Steps up to glazed door, to right of two altered cross windows. Other windows are 1-pane sashes, and all have cambered heads and flat arches of gauged brick, and painted stone sills. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value as part of a significant group of buildings on King's Staith. (City of York: RCHME: The Central Area: HMSO: 1981-: 151).
