Full Description

House. Mid C19. Brick with some painted stone dressings. Slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic. 2 bays. Built with the gable facing forwards. At the left on the ground floor there is a timber sashed canted bay window with attached colonnettes at the angles and with a lead roof. The 1st floor windows are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches and a sill band. There is a single attic window which is sashed with a segmental brick arch. At the right there is a pilaster doorcase with raised segmental arch and a cornice. The door is C20 and partly glazed and the plain overlight has a segmental top. The overhanging verges are supported on projecting purlins. Ridge chimney. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value as an integral part of Holgate Road.
